Fall 2021 Costs

The Fall 2021 session will be $85.00 US per person, per class for the 12-week session. (If you'd like to take more than one class each week, please email me at

Fall 2021 Session Schedule

How Do I Know What Level is Right for Me?

New Students

Before you register, please email Clemencia to set up a short Zoom meeting to define which group is best for you.


Returning Students

The classes are organized by level. Select the level you believe fits you best:

Level 1

I have not studied Spanish in many years or I speak Spanish "un poquito" (At Level 1, most of the class is taught in English and Spanish conversation is introduced over time.)

Level 2

I can understand some Spanish and have a basic social conversation ("Hi, how are you?" etc.). I have studied the use of SER and ESTAR. (At Level 2 some of the class is conducted in Spanish.)

Level 3

I have a wide vocabulary in Spanish and can communicate some thoughts and requests. (At Level 3 half of the class is conducted in Spanish.)

Level 4

I can discuss material in Spanish with moderate fluency. (At Level 4 most of the class is conducted in Spanish.)

Conversation Levels

I can converse in Spanish but I'm not fully fluent. (At the Conversation Levels all classes are conducted in Spanish.)

To register for classes for the Fall 2021 Session

  1. Complete the registration form in the right-hand column.

  2. Submit your registration. (Do this by clicking on the SUBMIT button directly below the registration form.)

  3. If you are paying by credit or with debit card, click on the PAYMENT BUTTON below AFTER you have submitted your registration. When you do, you will leave this website and be taken to a PayPal payment page. You will know that you are paying in the right location because you will see a photo of Clemencia. No one has reported problems using PayPal, but if you do, please send an email to

  4. Insert the amount of $85.00 US where indicated. Then follow the website prompts to complete your payment.

  5. If you wish to make PAYMENT BY CHECK indicate this on your registration and you will receive an invoice via email. You can print that invoice and, using the remittance address there, you can send a check made payable to Clemencia Vargas.

Please Note: Students are accepted on a "first come, first serve" basis. If you register for a class that is already full you will be notified by email and may be asked to move to another class.

REMEMBER: Registration is a TWO STEP process if you are paying by credit card or debit card. First, complete and SUBMIT your registration. Then, click on the PAYMENT BUTTON below to pay by via PayPal.
